NATO says kill 55 Taliban fighters in Afghan clashes
KABUL, Nov 26 (Reuters) NATO forces have killed 55 Taliban fighters in two separate battles in southern Afghanistan, the alliance said in a statement today.
One NATO soldier was also killed when a large number of militants attacked the peacekeeping troops stationed in the southern Afghan province of Uruzgan, it said.
The clashes took place on Saturday.
