Music buffs turn violent, a dozen policemen injured

Sasaram (Bihar), Nov 26 (UNI) Altogether a dozen policemen were injured in a stone pelting incident while trying to control a violent mob during a musical show at a stadium under town police station area here last night, police said.

Spectators got excited and created unruly scenes following a vulgar show by some artistes during the musical programme, police said.

''The crowd turned violent and started pelting stones at police personnel when they tried to control them''.

Deputy police superintendent K K Sharma was among 12 policemen who sustained injuries.

A case in this connection was lodged with local police station.
