Kumaraswamy warns Congress on bogus voting
Mysore, Nov 26 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today warned Congress party to desist from bringing people from outside to commit proxy voting in the Chamundeshwari assembly segment by-election on December four.
Speaking to newspersons here he said that he had received information that the Congress party was trying to bring people from Bangalore rural and Haveri districts, like it did before being caught red handed in PURA elections earlier.
The state government would take strict action against such incidents, he warned.
He accused the Congress was creating disturbance in the constituency mainly due to fear of defeat.
He said so far he had not received the copy of the letter written by Governor on the conduct of elections.
