Eleven buried alive under mining waste meterial

Bangalore, Nov 26 (UNI) Eleven people were killed and thirteen others injured when they were buried under waste meterial like ash and iron ore waste being unloded from a dipper in a mine area, near Toranagal in Hospet district last night, police today said.

According to information reaching a police headquarters, here, the deceased and the injured were collecting waste material at the place of mishap.

The police said while unloding, the dipper moved, resulting in burying eleven people coming under the wastematerial. The injured have admitted to different hospitals.
