DSIIDC to act as implementing agency to set up IT Corp

New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) In line with a cabinet decision taken by the Delhi government, the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) will play a key role in setting up an IT Corporation here.

The corporation will act as an implementing agency in the formation of the IT Corporation, DSIIDC Managing Director Jalaj Shrivastava said.

The state government favoured that DSIIDC should build more houses for the economically weaker sections, which was earlier done exclusively by Delhi Development Authority, Delhi Industry Minister mangat Ram Singhal said.

The minister also told that some African countries have invited the organisation to build good quality houses at economical rates.

The company's housing project at Bawana Industrial Estate under which 40,000 houses will be built has won National award- Awas Rattna Award.
