New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) The BJP which initially planned to to move an Adjournment Motion in Lok Sabha tomorrow about the failure of the UPA in handling national security issues and increased corruption, will do it one day later.

BJP Parliamentary Party Spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said the Lok Sabha will take up the issue concerning sealing problem confronting Delhi region and the party would put up its viewpoint in Rajya Sabha which is slated to discuss the internal security situation in the country.

The Motion will now be moved on Tuesday combining the international situation, internal security, corruption issues all rolled into one, he said.

Expressing his deep disappointment about Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ruling out tougher terror laws, Mr Malhotra said it was unfortunate that he was making such a statment at a time when Home Minister Shivraj Patil was painting a grim picture where every crucial infrastructure was sought to be attacked by terrorists using sea and air routes. Even the Intelligence Bureau Chief Narasimhan was voicing the need for terror law.

The government, he alleged, had delayed hanging of Mohammad Afzal, a convict in the December 2001 Parliament attack case for the sake of appeasing the Muslim voters and further its electoral prospects in the coming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Punjab.
