Bail plea accepted against eight workers
Sagar, MP, Nov 26 (UNI) A local court has accepted bail plea of eight Ekta Parishad activists, who were absolved from the treachery charge under section 124 (a) for want of proof but other charges were not dropped.
Ekta Parishad activists were arrested on the charge of inciting tribals and seizing forest land on November 15. A case was registered for treachery and other charges.
However, political parties had come out against this and opposed the arrest. The parishad postponed its 'padyatra' in view of the court decision.
Parishad spokesperson said the fight for the cause of tribals will continue.
