Azad pays tribute to late Girdhari Lal Dogra

Jammu, Nov 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad paid homage to late Girdhari Lal Dogra on his 19th death anniversary at a function organised here today.

Mr Azad said late Mr Dogra was a great secular leader who devoted his entire life in the service of people and upliftment of under-privileged and poorer sections of society irrespective of their caste, region or religion.

''It is because of these qualities people always remember and respect him'', he said.

Recalling his long association, Mr Azad said late Dogra was an experienced and upright political leader from whom one could learn a lot. He said the humility and simplicity of Mr Dogra was unique and his service to people was his only concern.
