Addtl SP, wife sustain burn injuries

Dindori, MP, Nov 26 (UNI) Additional Superintendent of Police Ashish Mesham and his wife Madhuri sustained burn injuries at their residence here last night, police said today.

The couple had returned home after attending a programme organised at a private school. The information that the couple had received burn injuries reached police station at 2230 hrs.

The Addtl SP and his wife were rushed to hospital, where doctors referred them to Jabalpur. Ms Mesham had sustained more severe burn injuries.

Besides the couple, two children were at home during the time of the incident. It was yet to be ascertained how the couple sustained burn injuries.

A case had not been registered yet. Police were investigating the matter.
