War like stores seized in South Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 25 (UNI) Security forces achieved a major success when they seized war like stores in the forest area of south Kashmir late last night, an official spokesman said today.

He said security forces on a specific information about the arms and ammunition stored by the militants in the woods at Rajpora Pulwama in south Kashmir launched a search operation.

However, after a long search security forces unearthed the hideout where the militants dumped arms and ammunition.

The arms and ammunition which include 30 UBGL grenades, four RPG's, one Universal Machine Gun, one UBGL ten rockets, nine boosters, two Improvised Explosive Device (IED), one wireless set, seven megazines and over 1500 rounds were seized from the hideout.

However, no one was arrested in this connection, the spokesman said.
