Uma found immersed in devotion

Sagar, MP, Nov 25 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti was today seen immersed in devotion during a religious programme.

The sadhvi, who was here to listen to discourse by Babu Chinmayanandji, rendered some 'bhajans' (devotional songs), including 'Bhagwan meri nayyi us paar laga dena (O Lord! take my boat to that shore)' and 'Jai Govinda, Jai Gopala'.

During her address, Ms Bharti said, she was attached to religion and she was in politics on deputation.

''Whenever I go from politics to religion, I feel 'Bhagwan main kis duniya mein jaa rahi hun (O Lord! to which world I am heading,'' she said.

She said that religion was protecting the country and claimed that God had given her a special task and she was fulfilling her responsibility.
