Silver shimmer, Gold rises on increased of fresh demand
Mumbai, Nov 25 (UNI) Silver today shot up by Rs 240 per kg while Gold rose by Rs 35 per ten gm on increased of fresh demand and bullish gloabl advice on the Bombay Bullion Exchange.
Spot Silver .999 fineness variety opened high at Rs 19,610 per kg on improved demand. Later, it shot up and closed at Rs 19,725 per kg, with a massive gain of Rs 240 from yesterday's close.
In London, the white metal was quoted high at USD 13.40/13.45 per troy ounce against USD 13.30/13.36 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened high at Rs 9,265 and Rs 9,315 per ten grams respectively.
The yellow metal improved and closed high at Rs 9,280 and Rs 9,325 with a huge gain of Rs 40 for standard Gold and Rs 35 for pure Gold from its last close.
In London, the yellow metal went up at USD 630.70/631.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 635/638 per troy ounce at New York on Friday.
