Ratan Tata among four others for BMA awards

Mumbai, Nov 25: Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata figures among the four recipients of the prestigious Bombay Management Association(BMA) Awards for the year 2005-06.

Apart from Mr Tata, other nominees are F T Khorakiwala, Chairman Akbarallys (Life Time Achievement), Sudhir M Trehan, Managing Director of Crompton Greaves (Management Man of the year), Harsh Mariwala, CMD, Marico Industries (Entrepreneur of the Year) and Ekta Kapoor, Creative Director Balaji Telefilms (Management Woman achiever of the Year).

The Bombay Management Association is India's Premier Management Association established in 1954 with an objective of promoting mutual exchange of sound management principles and practices.

It has over 3200 members representing large corporates and financial institutions in the Western Region.
