Rains likely in TN, Kerala, coastal Karnataka

Pune, Nov 25 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Rayalaseema.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, north interior Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshdweep. Mainly dry weather prevailed over west Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Haryana and below normal in some parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, southeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa, Chattisgarh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh and of Rayalaseema and were above normal in Bihar and in some parts of coastal Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
