Notorious criminal shot dead in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 25 (UNI) A notorious criminal was shod dead by unidentified assailants of a rival group at Trikuta Nagar locality on the outskirts of Jammu city this morning, official sources said here.

Notorious criminal, Sanjay Kumar alias Bakra, was going to clinch a deal this morning. When he was passing through the main market of Trikuta Nagar at 0950 hrs, two unidentified criminals of a rival gang opened fire on Bakra and he died on the spot.

Police sources said, Bakra was a notorious criminal and many cases were registered againt him in various police stations in the city.

Sources said Bakra was going to meet a prominent city doctor. A murder case against unkown people has been registered in Trikuta nagar and police have started an investigation.
