Kang shines in Samavir Sahi Am-Am

Chandigarh, Nov 25 (UNI) H S Kang returned an impressive two-under 70 to clinch the amateur category of the Royal Challenge Samarvir Sahi Amateur Golf Championship Am-Am here today.

In the individual 9 and above handicap category, TL Verma emerged winner with peoria nett score of 73, while Kulwant Singh Bhullar came second with peoria net score of 74.

In the 0-9 handicap category, IPS Mann emerged winner with a Peoria nett score of 73. He beat BB Kaushik on a better back nine score.

The tournament was played on individual double Peoria format.

The prizes were jointly given away by Sandeep Sandhu, Captain of the Chandigarh Golf Club and SS Lehal, Vice President, Chandigarh Golf Club.
