Jeev bounces back to lead after 3rd round in Casio World Open

Kochi, Japan, Nov 25 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh's second successive card of three-under 69 returned him a share of the lead after the penultimate round of the Casio World Open here today.

After rounds of 66, 69 and 69, the UBS Order or Merit winner shares the top spot with Tetsuya Haraguchi at 12-under 204 and the Indian would need to extend his red-hot form tomorrow to lift his maiden Japan Tour title.

Jeev was joint leader after the opening round but slipped to the second spot after round two and today's blemish-free show sent him back to where he belonged.

It was an extra-ordinary string of eight par shots before Jeev's putter birdied the next two holes on either side of the turn. Jeev parred the next seven shots before signing off with a birdie and bounced back to the lead with this bogey-free round.
