ENC wins Naval Seamanship event

Visakhapatnam, Nov 25 (UNI) The Eastern Naval Command(ENC) was adjudged overall winners of the Indian Naval Seamanship competition held here today.

According to ENC release, the competition included, boat handling, rope work, sailing, rigging up of various gears used for evolutions at sea.

Complex evolutions such as transfer of personnel and material from ships while at sea and towing of another ship also formed part of the three-day competition.

Teams from Eastern, Western and Southern Command participated in the competition.
