Bangalore, Nov 25: Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Jayapura 6; Chikodi; Rabkavi, Kudachi, Belgaum AP, Sringeri 4 each; Mudhol, Yeragatti Yedwad, Sankeshwar, Hukkeri, Balehonnur 3 each; Mahalingapur, Hubli, Ramdurg, Gokak, Bailhongal, Dharwad, Tyagarthi 2 each; Raibagh, Athani, Soundatti, Thirthahalli 1 each.
Minimum temperatures fell at a many places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over the State.
Chitradurga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.8 Degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/ thundershowrs likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Shimoga districts.
Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts over the State.
Local forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Fog/mist likely in the early morning hours. Minimum temperature would be around 17 Degree Celsius.
