2 children killed in Ghazipur fire

Ghazipur, Nov 25 (UNI) At least two children of a family were burnt alive when their hut caught fire in Ghazipur district late last night, police today said.

The incident occurred in Barharpur village under Nandganj police station area when a lantern lit inside the hut toppled over and the fire spread all over.

On hearing the shrieks, villagers rushed to the spot. While Ramesh (8) and Remma (6) were burnt alive, the other three children were saved.

Meanwhile, a case was registered.
