Uma rules out return to BJP

Bhopal, Nov 24 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti today reiterated that her return to the BJP was ''out of the question'' and said she had no contact with senior BJP leaders in the past six-seven months.

''This chapter has now closed completely,'' Ms Bharti told reporters here, adding that she had no communication with senior BJP leaders, including Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mr L K Advani, during the past six-seven months.

Earlier, greetings were exchanged at least on occasions such as birthdays but that has also stopped now.

''Deterioration of traditions had resulted in the downfall of the BJP,'' she alleged.

The former Chief Minister added that the BJS will carry forward the principles of Hindutva and nationalism on which it was founded.
