LONDON, Nov 24 (Reuters) A soldier died during a routine training exercise on a military range in southeast England, police and the Ministry of Defence said.
Kent police said yesterday they were investigating the death after being called to Lydd ranges at 7.00am (1230 hrs IST).
A Home Office pathologist was conducting a post mortem, the police said in a statement, without giving further details.
A defence ministry spokeswoman confirmed the death.
''It happened during a routine training exercise,'' the spokeswoman told Reuters, declining to give further details.
