Traffic restored along Tamil Nadu-Kerala highway
Coimbatore, Nov 24 (UNI) The traffic, which was disrupted along the Tamil Nadu-Kerala highway following the 'road roko' agitation by DMK activists since yesterday, resumed here today after its Party headquarters appealed agitators to call it off.
DMK local leaders said the decision to call off their agitation was taken after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi appealed to them.
The activists staged a 'road roko' agitation along the highway demanding increase in water-level in Mullaperiyar Dam.
