Silver and Gold zoom to eleven-week high

Mumbai, Nov 24 (UNI) Silver and Gold today zoomed to a eleven-week high as the white metal surged up by Rs 125 per kg and Gold rose by Rs 85 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange on reduced stock supply and bullish global advice.

Spot Silver .999 fineness variety opened high at Rs 19,421 per kg on good demand. Later, it edged up and closed at a 11-week high of Rs 19,485 per kg, with a huge gain of Rs 125 from yesterday's close.

In London, the white metal was quoted high at USD 13.30/13.36 per troy ounce against USD 13.09/13.10 per troy ounce in New York.

Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) opened high at Rs 9,205 and Rs 9,250 per ten gram, respectively.

The yellow metal improved and also closed at a 11-week high of Rs 9,240 and Rs 9,290 with a huge gain of Rs 80 for standard Gold and Rs 85 for pure Gold from its previous close.

In London, the yellow metal went up at USD 635.70/638.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 630/631 per troy ounce at New York on Thursday.
