Shekhawat on two-day visit to Yavatmal from tomorrow

Nagpur, Nov 24 (UNI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will be on a two-day visit to Yavatmal from tomorrow.

Mr Shekhawat will reach here from New Delhi by a special IAF aircraft tomorrow afternoon and proceed to Yavatmal by helicopter, according to an official press release here.

He is scheduled to attend various programmes in Yavatmal on November 25 and 26, including the golden jubilee celebrations of a private college there.

The Vice President will return to Nagpur from Yavatmal by helicopter on Sunday afternoon, and leave for New Delhi by a special IAF aircraft the same day.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil will also be on a day's tour to Yavatmal tomorrow. Mr Patil will reach Yavatmal tomorrow morning, and flag off the ''Shetkari Atmanirbhar Rath (Farmers' Self-reliance Rally).'' Later in the day, Mr Patil will be present at the functions being attended by Mr Shekhawat.
