Jammu, Nov 24 (UNI) Six days after the landslide struck the Doda district last Sunday, seven tribals and 112 cattle, who were buried in the storm, have still not been traced, official sources said today.

''Seven people from the 'Bakarwal' community, along with 112 cattle heads, were buried alive in the landslide in Pir-Panjal in Kishtawar tehsil,''the officials admitted.

They said Police and the Rashtriya Rifle troops launched a rescue operation after the survivors reported that seven 'Bakerwals' of the Bharat area had been trapped with 112 cattle heads at Saidani in Chatroo area.

Authorities now plan to conduct an aerial survey of the area to help the police and the RR troops trace the missing tribals, the sources said.

The missing tribals were identified as Ghulam Rasool, Abdul Rehman, Ghulam Hassan, Rashid, Manzoor Ahmed, Mohammad Ramzan and Noor Mohammad.
