RTV driver arrested for culpable homicide

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Police have arrested an RTV driver from south west Delhi in a case of culpable homicide.

Teejveer (27) was arrested for abandoning an accident victim and not taking her to a hospital.

On Wednesday, Kumari Baby (22), while returning home from work at about 2130 hrs, was run over by the RTV driven by Teejveer and injured seriously.

The bystanders stopped the vehicle and asked the driver to rush her to hospital, which he promised them.

But Teejveer abandoned her near the Najafgarh drain where she died.

Police have seized the RTV and collected blood samples from the vehicle.
