RS adjourned for second time on Arunachal issue
New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha was today adjourned for 30 minutes till 1430 hrs for the second time on the Arunachal Pradesh issue after the Chair refused any further discussion on the matter.
When the House reassembled at 1400 hrs, opposition members wanted resumption of the discussion on the Arunachal issue while the CPI(M) insisted that it should be allowed to present its view in the House.
When there was no meeting point between the two, the Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan said that the Chairman had ruled that the discussions were concluded, and he could not reopen it.
When the trouble continued, he adjourned the House for another 30 minutes.
