Rains likely in TN, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and N-E States

Pune, Nov 24 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Triupura, Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal and Sikkim, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Heavy rains have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu. Rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Night temperatures were below normal in Jammu and south west Rajasthan. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, Manipur, Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Kashmir, northwest and east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana, coastal Karnataka and in some parts of Orissa, and were above normal in some parts of Gujarat. They were normal over the rest of the country.
