Reliance Comm offers free STD calls at night

New Delhi, Nov 24: Reliance Communications today announced the launch of a free STD calling facility at night for its subscribers across India.

Using the 'STD Call Card' R-Comm subscribers can make calls at any Reliance phone anywhere in India between 2300 hrs to 0600 hrs free of charge.

The card priced at Rs 675 offers a full talk time of Rs 601, while for all other calls during the day the subscriber has to pay just Re 1 per minute.

''This free STD calling facility will be appreciated by our customers such as couples staying apart, students staying in hostels wanting to stay in touch with families and BPO employees who are active at night and many similar customer segments,'' said Reliance Communications President (Personal Business) S P Shukla.

This facility is available at both post-paid or pre-paid connections all over India, in addition to the fixed wireless phones -- Reliance Hello -- of the company.

The company has a customer base of over 29 million including 9,00,000 individual overseas retail customers.
