Punjabi University wins overall championship

Patiala, Nov 24 (UNI) Punjabi University, Patiala, won the overall championship in the men's section of All India Inter-varsity Cycling Championship for a record eighth time at the Punjabi University Velodrome here today.

In the men's category, Punjabi University won one km mass start, four km team pursuit, Olympic team sprint, sprint while Panjab University Chandigarh won the individual 20 km point race.

In the women's section, Punjabi University won the three km team pursuit, Kerala University won one km mass start (individual) and three km individual pursuit was won by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.
