Kohima, Nov 24 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has decided to launch a mass agitation from November 28 against the state government's failure to hold a CBI probe into Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) scam.

According to NSF general secretary K Elu Ndang, they were compelled to take up this path as the government had failed to hold any CBI inquiry into the NPSC scam.

Earlier the NSF had set a deadline of November 25 before the government to hold a CBI inquiry into the discrepancies and anomalies in the NPSC.

''Though the government had assured the NSF to take up the matter in the next cabinet meeting, it has failed to respond so far,'' Ndang said.

He said the NSF is chalking out the programmes of the agitation, which will be in phased manner, and would be declared within a day or two.
