Patna, Nov 24 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today categorically stated that there was no need to meet the RJD Chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for the state's development.

While releasing the report card of his government on the occasion of completion of one year in office, Mr Kumar told newsperons here that there was no need to contact Mr Prasad as the latters department had nothing to do with the development of Bihar.

He said any meeting with Mr Prasad was not needed on development front.

Mr Kumar ruled out any political discussion with Union Fertilizer Minister Ramvilas Paswan and said that he had called on the latter during his recent visit to Delhi and discussed the dearth of fertilizer in the state.

Mr Kumar said he and Mr Paswan both had stated that they would work in tandem for the state's development.

He lamented at the attitude of the Union Ministers from RJD fold saying that they were giving statements when the state government was fully cooperating with the Centre.

Mr Kumar ruled out any grievances with the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and the Planning Commission as it was sanctioning the projects and fund to Bihar at par with other states.
