Koppa recorded 7 cm rainfall in the State
Bangalore, Nov 24 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Koppa recorded heavy rainfall of 7 cm.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Virajpet, Sargur 5 each, Mudigere 4, Siddapura 3, Puttur, Jayapura, Gundlupet 2 each, Udupi, Periyapatna H D Kote 1 each.
Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka, above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Mysore recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.9 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowrs likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Hassan districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts over the State.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Fog/mist likely in the early morning hours. Minimum temperature would be around 18 degree celsius.
