JD(S) workers stall campaigning by Congress, JD(U)
Mysore, Nov 24 (UNI) Congress and Janata Dal (United) parties today accused Janata Dal(Secular) of obstructing their campaign for the December four by election to Chamundeshwari Assembly Seat.
Tense situation prevailed in the City when Congress leaders staged a protest in front of the office of Superintendent of Police protesting against suspected JD(S) workers did not allow MLC Mallajamma from campaigning at Dasanakoppal village and virtually lay a seize on her house for some time.
Earlier, JD (U) candidate A S Guruswamy lodged a written complaint with the Election Observer against the ''high-handedness'' of suspected JD(S) workers in not allowing him to take up campaigning in the constituency.
