Jairam Ramesh to grace Hornbill Rock

Kohima, Nov 24 (UNI) Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Jairam Ramesh will be coming to Nagaland for the first time on December one, which is coinciding with Hornbill National Rock Contest in Kohima and Hornbill Festival.

Official sources here today said he would be present at the inaugural day of the week-long Hornbill Festival and the 43rd Statehood Day.

The National Rock Contest is organised by the Music Task Force, a cell of the Youth Resource Department of Nagaland government, where Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio would be the Chief Patron of the National event.

The organisers informed that 41 Rock bands from all over the country would participate in this National contest. Grammy Award winner Viswa Mohan Bhatt, media personalities and representatives of top recording companies would be present.
