Govt employees hold Demo

Puducherry, Nov 24 (UNI) Members of the Puducherry State Government Employees Association today held a demonstration in front of the head post office to press their demands, here today.

They were demanding, among other things, the implementation of the sixth Pay Commission recommendations with retrospective effect from January 1 this year and provision of Rs 1000 as interim relief pending the implementation of the Pay Commission recommendations.
