Filmmaker Jag Mundhra selected for David Flynt honorary award

Mumbai, Nov 24 (UNI) University Of Leicester law society, UK has selected filmmaker Jagmohan Mundhra for the David Flynt Honorary Award as a South Asian achiever in the Global Mainstream media this year for his film 'Provoked'.

Actress Shabana Azmi and choreographer -director Farah Khan are two other awardees chosen by the Triangle Media Group which organises the award function, for their contributions in cinema.

''The award ceremony is scheduled for December seven at the University of Leicester in UK where I have been invited to give a short lecture on the issue of Domestic Violence in Asian Diaspora,'' Mr Mundhra told UNI.
