Boamb hoax in Jaipur school

Jaipur, Nov 24 (UNI) Two thousand students of the Mahaveer Public School were today evacuated following a bomb hoay here.

School principal Urmila Verma said about 1130 hrs the reception of the school received a call claiming that a bomb has been planted in the school premises. The caller did not disclose his identity.

She immediately passed the information to the school management and the Ashok Naagar police.

The prinicipal orderd an emergency evacuation of the school and asking the students to assemble on the ground.

The students were not told the reason for the assembly as it might have led to stampede,' said Mrs Verma.' By now the Ashok Nagar police SHO Nam Singh alongwith other senior police officials had reached the spot with the Bomb disposal squad. Sniffer dogs were pressed into service, but no trace a bomb could be found.
