Azad reiterates his commitment for JK development
Jammu, Nov 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today reiterated his commitment to striving for the development of the state and seeking economic well-being of the people living in backward and far-flung areas.
Addressing a public meeting at Chingam in Doda district, the Chief Minister said the government has formulated a comprehensive development policy ensuring equitable progress, especially in hitherto neglected areas.
''Extension and improvement in the education sector, construction and upgrade of roads and links, setting up of health centres and expanding medicare facilities in areas like Chingam are receiving full attention. Clear-cut directions have been given to the administration to ensure speedy progress in these areas,'' he added.
