RSS chief meets 3 Shankaracharyas

Nagpur, Nov 23 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief K S Sudershan met three Shankaracharyas during the course of the day here today.

Sudershan met Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamakoti, Shankaracharya Nishchalanda Saraswati of Goverdhan and Shankaracharya Raghaveshwar Bharati Swami of Gokarna separately today, a RSS spokesman said.

The Sarsanghachalak met Raghaveshwar Bharati in the RSS headquarters in Mahal, the spokesman said. He then met Jayendra Saraswati and Nishchalananda Bharati at two different venues where they were participating in religious programmes, he said adding that the spokesman said that the Sarsanghachalak had gone for 'darshan.' The Sarsanghachalak was closetted with each of them for about 30 minutes, it was learnt. However, details of the meetings were not available.
