Rains forecast in Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Kerala

Pune, Nov 23 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Lakshadweep and at a few places in coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Gangetic West Bengal, north Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, northwest and east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, north Chattisgarh, Telangana and north coastal Karnataka.

Night temperatures were also appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, and were above normal in Bihar, Rayalseema, and south coastal and interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
