One soldier among two killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 23 (UNI) A soldier was among two people killed in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said a security man Mohammad Khaleel, resident of Poonch, was shot dead by militants at Kangan late last night. Militants later managed to escape under the cover of darkness, they added.

Militants also shot at and critically wounded one Shabir Ahmad at Tarzoo, Sopore, in Baramulla district late last night. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
