No one to be projected as CM in Uttaranchal: Rajnath

Dehra Dun, Nov 23 (UNI) BJP Supremo Rajnath Singh today disclosed that no one would be projected as chief minister in Uttaranchal prior to Assembly election due early next year.

''Chief Minister will be decided only after assembly election, that also taking MLAs in confidence,'' Mr Singh told mediapersons at Jollygrant Airport, here today after his arrival on his way to Haldwani.

He maintained that there would be no alliance with any parties in the election. ''BJP in Uttaranchal is strong enough to contest election by its own,'' he said, adding that it would sweep the Assembly seats in majority.

However he did not rule out possibility of forging alliance with other like-minded parties in Uttar Pradesh. He maintained that the election in the state would be fought under the leadership of party rather than any person.
