Mortal remains of Balasaheb Bharade consigned to flames

Pune, Nov 23 (UNI) The mortal remains of veteran Gandhian and former State Assembly Speaker Balasaheb Bharade, who passed away yesterday, were consigned to the flames with full State honours at the Vaikunth crematorium here this evening.

State Minister for Cooperation, Rehabilitation and Relief Work Patangrao Kadam paid his homage on behalf of the State Government at the funeral.

Earlier, Balasaheb Bharade's body was kept at the Gandhi Bhavan here and later brought to the Congress Bhavan to enable people to pay their last respects.
