Minister asks for doubling of Ramanagaram-Mysore rail line
New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting M H Ambareesh today called on Minister of State for Railways Naranbhai J Rathwa and requested him to sanction a project for doubling of track on the Ramanagaram-Mysore section.
Mr Ambareesh said the project includes electrification of railway line between Kengeri and Mysore.
He also congratulated Mr Velu on achieving a historic turnaround of the Indian Railways with an impressive surplus of over Rs 13,000 crore within a short period.
