Hathway Introduces Interactive Gaming on Digital Cable

Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) The Rajan Raheja Group Company, Hathway Cable and Datacom Pvt Ltd is the first Indian Multi System Operator (MSO) to offer interactive gaming on the Digital Cable platform.

Hathway has partnered with UK based NDS Group Plc (NASDAQ:NNDS), which is a majority owned subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation Group to bring in this and many more such technological innovations in the cable TV business, a release issued here today said.

As part of the introductory package, the bouquet of ten fun-filled games is available free of cost to more than one lakh subscribers across seven locations - Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Jalandhar and Chennai. Digital Services with gaming will be launched in Mysore by the end of this month and in Nashik by the end of this year.
