Haryana to have its Kala Kendra soon-Birender Singh

Hisar, Nov 23 (UNI) Haryana'' Finance Minister Birender Singh, today said that the state government would soon set up Haryana Kala Kendra to preserve and develop ''Haryanvi culture and art.'' Inaugurating the Regional Youth Festival of Kurukshetra University, Mr Singh said, that the Kala Kendra will be set up on the pattern of Kala Kendra situated at Bhopal.

The Finance Minister announced a grant of Rs two lakh to the college and assured the permission of the government to build a boundary wall around the college hostel.

''The well established institutions in Haryana will be given special attention and help to introduce new courses, construct multi-purpose halls and gymnasium etc. The land for the project will be provided by the institution and other expenditure will be borne by local bodies,'' he said.
