Govt will set up Aero space SEZ near airport:CM

Hyderabad, Nov 23 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr.Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy today announced the setting up a Aero Space Special Economiz Zone(SEZ) near upcoming International Airport at Shamshabad on the city outskirts.

Addressing the enterpreuners at the Small Scale Industries day celebrations here, he said the Aero space SEZ would come up in an area of 500 acres with investment of Rs.250 crore for the Infrastructure development.

He said the Aero space for the maintenance, repair and overhauling He said the government also proposed to set up foundry and forging unit in Medak district in an area of 200 acres and the government would spent Rs 100 crore for the infrastructure development.

He said the government would take all steps to increase the industrial growth in the state.

The Government would provide all facilities for the enterpreneurs who desires to set up their ventures in remote areas, he said and added that the government would develop the infrastructure and provide roads, drinking water, and electricity in the area.

He said the government was also planning to reduce the Electricity charges for the industries in the state from April next. The government had been reducing the electricity charges for the industries with a view for the industrial development.
