Floral tributes paid to Maran

Chennai, Nov 23 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to DMK ideologue and former Union Minister Murasoli Maran on the occasion of his third death anniversary today.

DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi led partymen in paying tributes to the late leader, by garlanding his statue at the Murasoli complex here.

DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan, Union Ministers Dayanidhi Maran, A Raja, senior party leaders, including Organisation secretary T K S Elangovan, MPs and MLAs, Dravidar Kazhagam President K Veeramani were among others who garlanded the statue.

In Vellore, Local Administration Minister M K Stalin unveiled a portrait of Mr Maran at the traveller's bungalow and paid floral tributes. Public Works Minister Duraimurugan also paid homage.
